Do you want to know a secret? I have a secret life. Yup! In the first week of school, I read a book to my first graders called My Teacher’s Secret Life by Stephen Krensky. Afterwards we started writing our own “My Secret Life” essays on what they love to do after school and on the weekends. Well this is my secret life; this BLOG is, so whoever you are reading this, remember to keep it a secret. ☺
I’m still in the process of finding myself. I am a teacher, yes, but I’m still figuring out what brings me most happiness in life. Last night, a high school friend reminded me of the kind of person I was in high school. I used to plan all the time; I always made schedules, to do lists and loved decorating my planner. I still did that up until I had mountains of papers to grade, materials to make and lessons to plan. I had no time for it just like I had no time to sleep, time to eat, time to clean my room, time to talk to my friends, and time to talk to my family. Long weekend is here, its 3:11am and I am contemplating on life.
My dreams for as long as I remember:
I dream of traveling the world; First stop NEW YORK. I know I will go there, I just know it, I will.
To be a WEDDING PLANNER; weddings make me all tingly inside.
So my goal now is to be more ORGANIZED. 2nd term is coming and I’m gonna rock it! I won’t let ANYONE get to me. I will be strong and more confident. I will be the best that I can be to give my students the best education they deserve.
